Liberty City and Little Haiti sit north of NW 36th Street, on higher ground than most of Miami. Little Haiti Cultural Complex runs music and dance programming most weeks, and the Caribbean Marketplace anchors the NE 2nd Avenue strip. Liberty City is residential and long settled, with block after block of low rise buildings and front yards. You get more square footage per dollar here than almost anywhere in the urban core, and Wynwood, the Design District, and Downtown are all a short drive.
